Somehow I'm on my 45th wind today, as I've now been up for almost 28 hours. I don't know how I've done it. I told myself, though, that I can't go to sleep until the sun sets.
Today was the first day of classes. I had two, and I've chosen to drop one of them. I could not face 17 hours this semester, 9 of them made up of upper division English classes. I haven't taken any upper division classes yet. I don't have the confidence to take on three of them in one semester, especially when the professor today told us she was going to grade on a modified 6 point scale. My GPA is too important to me this time around in college, and I'm not going to risk getting a B just because a teacher decides that in her world, a B is going to be from 88 to 94.
Hmm. Ranting about this has made me sleepy. Sun, why won't you go down?
