I'm starting to feel old.
I just found out that the father of another friend of mine died this week. He had recently been diagnosed with colon cancer. I fear this is going to become more common news due to the age my generation's parents are reaching.
One of my greatest fears is what I will do when my father dies, especially if I'm still single and without a great support network. My mother died when I was 10, so the thought of losing my last parent is crippling.
I can't dwell on this anymore, or I'll start crying.
